I’ll always remember the time we shared playing video games together. Many a night was spent laughing at your jokes and all the silly moments we shared. There was never a dull moment with you around. You were such a kind, funny and genuinely amazing person, and you’ll be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing you.

Sending all my love and deepest condolences during this incredibly difficult time. Even though distance and circumstances meant I never had the chance to meet Spencer in person, hearing about his spirit of adventure always resonated with me deeply. It is clear he was a wonderful young man who brought immense joy and light into my sister's life.
I am so incredibly grateful for the beautiful year of marriage and love they shared, and for the blessing of my sweet niece, Allison Spencer. Spencer’s vibrant spirit will undoubtedly live on through her. Holding my sister, baby Allison, and everyone who loved Spencer close in my thoughts.

To the wonderful, respectful, kindhearted, selfless and soft spoken brother-in-law of mine, Vjay like I do call you: you were never just in-law family to me, I see you more of my blood.
I will forever be grateful for the rare opportunity you gave me, if I could vividly remember, it was around early December 2020, you made see myself as someone who could have experience in Video Editing and with my passion for media and entertainment in which you gave me a pass into the company you were working for back then (Hiimpact Studios). You were not just a colleague but a great leader who inspired and empowered others while demonstrating high integrity, accountability and emotional intelligence.
Your unending love for my sister (Karymah) was something I admired. Words ain’t just enough to describe the kind of being you were. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen you get angry not even for once, I will be like “shey Vjay dey vex at all sha?” Saying goodbye is kinda difficult because you had a heart of gold and a smile that could brighten up anyone’s mood. The memories we shared will forever live on. May Almighty Allah’s comfort and protection be with the wife and daughter you left behind.
Rest peacefully, knowing you will forever be in our hearts. Although you left us so soon, we love you but Almighty God love you the most. May you continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.
And to Pastor Babatunde Adejumo, Mr Fuad, Oyinkansola and Oyindamola thank you all for your unwavering support to the Umokoro’s family during their difficult time. May Almighty Allah reward every one of you.

June 25, 2026 at 7:41:47 a.m.

It is with a heavy heart and deep sense of loss that I write this tribute to my dear friend, colleague, and younger brother, Victor Umukoro, who sadly passed away on the 9th of June, 2026.
Victor and I worked together for many years in the television industry. He served as my Assistant Head of Editing, and throughout those years, he distinguished himself as a dedicated professional, a dependable team player, and an exceptional human being. Even after relocating to Canada, the bond we shared remained strong, transcending distance and time.
Victor was a gentle soul—humble, mature, and wise in his approach to life's challenges. He possessed a calm demeanor that made him easy to work with and easy to love. His respect for people, regardless of status or position, was one of his most admirable qualities.
One thing I will always remember is the way he addressed me. Whether at work or during our private conversations, he would always call me "Baba" or "Boss." Those simple words, spoken with affection and respect, reflected the warmth of our relationship. To me, Victor was never just a colleague; he was more like a younger brother.
The last time we spoke was on March 16th. As usual, our conversation revolved around our shared passion for media. We discussed church media operations, cameras, and the evolving world of television production. In the midst of our professional discussions, he joyfully spoke about his newborn baby. With his characteristic humor, he jokingly remarked that female children are wonderful. Looking back now, I cherish that conversation even more, never imagining it would be our last.
Victor's passing leaves a void that cannot easily be filled. His kindness, humility, professionalism, and cheerful spirit will remain etched in the hearts of all who knew him. Though he has departed from this earthly life, the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the legacy he left behind will continue to inspire us.
To his family, especially his beloved wife, daughter, and loved ones, I pray that God grants you strength, comfort, and peace during this difficult time. May you find solace in the beautiful memories you shared with him and in the knowledge that he lived a life worthy of honor and remembrance.
Victor, my brother, my colleague, my friend—your voice calling me "Baba" and "Boss" will forever echo in my heart. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
Farewell, Victor Umukoro.
Gone too soon, but forever remembered.May God comfort everyone who mourns his passing and grant him eternal rest. Amen.

We would like to offer our deepest sympathies and prayers to Janice, Mason, Diedre and all the of the family. He was a great friend for the many years growing up in Vibank. There has been many years and many miles, between but but he is still close in our hearts and memories.
The pig roast BBQ was one of the last times we had been together. How quickly time flies by, but how close memories can be.
We pray that the Good Lord will give you peace and a heart full of great memories of a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend.

My sincere condolences to all the family.
Gary was a sincerely good man, conscientious mechanic and I always enjoyed a chat while waiting for my car.
I met Gary through Gloria, whom
I worked with and as friends.
So many years ago.
Condolences also from Vel Forfar.
Gary is now your Angel in Heaven watching over his whole family
