Caroline Anne Blight

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Caroline Anne Blight on November 1, 2025, surrounded by her family and those who held her close. She made her home in Kelliher, Saskatchewan, where her heart, and her door, were always open.

Carol was a wonderful mother, a loyal friend, and a soft place to land for anyone who needed comfort. She welcomed others with open arms, shared freely, and made sure everyone felt seen and cared for. Her kindness was steady and genuine, the kind that stays with you long after the moment has passed.

She leaves behind her son, Cory, and her daughter, Nicole, who carry her love forward in the way they live, love, and care for others, just as she taught them. She is also lovingly remembered by her mother, Dorothy Kehler, stepfather Norman Shmelzer, and her siblings Sally, Laura, Rita, Harvey, and Mike, whose lives she enriched with her laughter, generosity, and unwavering care. Her warmth remains in the memories shared by those who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her father, Aloysius Kehler.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the White City Community Hall, White City, SK, beginning at 1 p.m.
