About this package
What does this package include?
A full funeral service at a church, chapel, Sage Funeral Home, or another venue, with the casket present. Following the service, the casket is transferred to the crematorium. The cremated remains are returned to the family.
Is the cremation process fee included?
The cremation process fee is INCLUDED in this package. Your funeral director will walk you through the full cost breakdown during arrangements so you know exactly what to expect.
Why choose cremation after a full service?
Some families want the ritual and ceremony of a traditional funeral but prefer cremation over burial. This package provides both — a meaningful public service followed by cremation. The ashes can then be kept, scattered, or interred as the family wishes.
Can we have a graveside committal?
Yes. If you would like to inter the cremated remains at a cemetery following the service, our funeral director can coordinate that as well. Cemetery plot and interment fees apply.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a traditional funeral with cremation cost in Regina?
Sage's Traditional Funeral with Cremation package starts at $4,110. This covers professional care, documentation, a one-hour pre-service viewing, funeral director guidance at the service and cemetery, and transportation. Casket, cremation process fee, and selected additions are extra.
Can we have a viewing before the funeral service?
A one-hour viewing immediately prior to the funeral service is included. A separate full viewing or visitation on a different day is available as an addition.
What happens to the cremated remains after the service?

Can the service be livestreamed for family who cannot attend?
Livestreaming is available as an add-on. This is a popular option for families with loved ones in other provinces or countries who wish to be part of the service.
