Chrisanthia Michelle Denis

With great sadness, the Denis family announces the unexpected passing of Chrisanthia Michelle Denis.

Chrisan was born at Regina General Hospital on April 20, 1973, and was the youngest child of Eileen and Pius Denis. She was the beloved sister of Ange Denis, Bonnie Hiebert (Blair), Francine Denis (Adrian), and Gary Denis.

She was a cherished aunt to Bailey Hiebert (Nolen), Sara Sandino, Elisa Sandino, Nicole Sandino, and Gary Denis Jr. and a proud great-aunt to Sophia Benevento.

Chrisan was predeceased by her grandparents, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including, more recently, her dear cousin Darren, Aunt Carolyn, Uncle Barry, and Aunt Frances.

A gifted and creative soul, Chrisan found joy in music, dance, art, and teaching. She sang with the Hetherington Singers as a child and was an accomplished gymnast and ballerina. Her talent and dedication led to opportunities to perform and study at the National Ballet School in Toronto, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, and the Boston Ballet. Sadly, illness brought her ballet career to an early end.

Never losing her creative spirit, Chrisan later taught yoga for several years and expressed her artistic talents by making beautiful greeting cards and decorating picture frames.

She had a deep love for animals, especially her three beloved dogs that she shared with Noah.  She shared a special bond with her brother Gary through their favourite horse, and she loved to travel the world.

A Celebration of Chrisan's Life will be held at Sage Funeral Home, 329 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Chrisan's memory may be made to the MS Society or the Regina Humane Society.
