Gail Irene Drummond

It is with deep sadness and much love that we announce the passing of our mom, Gail Drummond, who passed away peacefully on September 13th at the age of 83.

Born on December 3, 1942 in Alberta, mom lived a life filled with love, strength, and selflessness. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and her presence brought warmth and comfort to those fortunate enough to know her.

Mom will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, strength, and love for her family. She especially loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones. The memories she created and the love she gave so freely will remain with us forever.

She leaves behind her children, Daren (Gaylene), Darel (Dawn), Darcy, Rob and Lori Boehme (Sean McConnell). Her grandchildren David, Matthew,Andrew, Kyle and Presley , as well as her brother Dennis (Josephine), sister-in-law Violet and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Allan, her parents Robert and Ruth and her twin brother Gordon.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Sunset Special Care Home for the kindness, compassion, dignity, and exceptional care they provided. Their patience, dedication, and genuine concern brought comfort not only to our mom but also to the entire family. We are deeply grateful for all that they did. We also want to thank the staff on unit 4B at the Pasqua Hospital.

A private graveside memorial will be held. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour her memory may make a donation to the Regina humane society or the palliative care unit at Sunset Care Home.

Mom, your love shaped our lives in ways words can never fully express. We will miss your voice, your smile, your guidance, and simply knowing you were there.

You will forever be loved, forever remembered, and forever a part of us.
