Gerard Paul Lagace

Gerard Paul Lagace, known to many as Big “G” passed away peacefully on February 11^th, 2026, at the age of 66 years, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

Gerard was born on October 23^rd, 1959, in Balcarres and spent his life devoted to his family, his work, and his community. He was known for his kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. Whether through his generosity, his sense of humor, or his willingness to help others, Gerard touched many lives and he will be deeply missed.

He was a devoted husband/father/grandfather/brother/son and friend, and he took great pride in his family. Gerard cherished time spent with loved ones and valued meaningful connections above all else. His presence brought comfort, wisdom, and warmth to those around him.

Gerard is lovingly remembered by the love of his life Linda, children: Tyler, Jordan (Alexis) Jamie (Natasha), Tara (Cody), grandchildren: Keisha, River, Becky, Halle, Marlee and Hannah and great grandchild Axel, siblings: Collette (Garnet), Michelle (Barry) and Romuald. Other family: sisters in law: Ruth, Sandra (Jon), brothers in law: Jim (Florence), Lenny (April) and Randy and many other family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Paul, mother Anita, sister Denise and sisters in law Angie and Deanna.

A celebration of Gerard’s life will be held on Monday, February 16^th, 2026 at 11 am Sacred Heart Church, Lebret Saskatchewan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerard’s memory to Cancer Society of Saskatchewan.

Gerard’s legacy of love, integrity, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
