James Elder

With profound sadness James (Jim) Elder of Stratford, Ontario passed away suddenly at Regina General Hospital, Saskatchewan on June 26, 2026 at the age of 77. The son of the late Thomas Elder and Ethel (Broughton) Elder. Jim spent many years at Dana Canada Corporation in St. Marys.

Loving husband of Juanita Sauvé (Ladd). Stepfather to Stephen Sauvé (Loretta Zoratto), Renée Sauvé & Drew Sauvé (Katelyn Savage). There was a special place in his heart for his grandchildren; André, Remi, Louis & Amelia.

James will be remembered by his surviving siblings Bob Elder, Georgina Winton & Elizabeth Exley. He was a beloved uncle to Tommy and Stan Henry and his many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, James is predeceased by his brothers Ted, Don and John Elder and his sister Florence Henry.
