Joanne Sens

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear mother, Joanne Sens, on Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Regina Pasqua Hospital.

Joanne will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Sherry (Dave) McCann and Sandy (William) Coates. She was a proud grandmother and cherished “GG” to Chelsie (Jason) and their children, Austin, Aleia and Dawson;  Josh (Alex) and their son Archer, children of Sherry and Dave; Nicole (Mitch) and Jesse (Christina), children of Sandy and William; and Christopher (Kristina) and their children; Chloe, London and Kipton  and Mandy (Dwight), children of her late daughter Barb.

Joanne will also be fondly remembered by her husband Gerald’s family, including his sister Helen Schick; brothers Norm Sens and Wilfred Sens (Darlene) as well as their families.

Joanne will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to her dear friends Caroline and Ron Wagner for the kindness, care, and support they showed our mom.

A Celebration of Joanne’s Life will be held in the spring of 2026 at her favourite place — the family cabin at Alta Vista.
