In Loving Memory of Joyce Mae Wilson

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Joyce Mae Wilson on February 12, 2025. A small but feisty woman with a heart full of love, Joyce was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and cherished friend to many.

Joyce found joy in the simple pleasures of life—reading, word search puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. She had a flair for style, always keeping her hair fresh with a new color and adorning her nails with trendy designs. Her vibrant spirit and love for fashion made her truly one of a kind.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Darrell; daughter, Kelly; and son, Murray. She is also survived by her sister and many dear nieces and nephews.

Joyce was overjoyed to be a grandmother, always cheering on her grandchildren—Betheny, Richelle, Alyssa, Alexis, and Elijah—with pride and love. Though her great-grandchildren, Mason, Justice, Ellie, and Bennett, will only know her through cherished stories, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Cupar Care Home for their kindness and care.

Mom, we take comfort knowing you are at peace, watching over us with love. ļæ¼

A Little While

Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow,

But remember me in every tomorrow.

Remember the joy, the laughter, the smile.

I’ve only gone to rest for a little while.

Although my leaving causes pain and grief,

my going has eased my hurt and given me relief.

So dry your eyes and remember me,

not as I am now, but as I used to be.

Because I will remember you all,

And look on with a smile.

Understand in your hearts,

I’ve only gone to rest for a little while.
