Kevin Lloyd Stark

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Lloyd Stark on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan, while surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kevin was predeceased by his father, Lloyd Stark, grandmother, Mary Demas, sister, Michelle Stark, and stepfather, Jack Bateman.

Kevin will be lovingly remembered for his humour, warm and welcoming nature, generosity, unwavering kindness, and love for his family and friends including his wife, Rhonda. Mother, Mary Anne. Children, Anne-Marie Murton (Darren), Leanne McCarthy (Tim), Tyler Stark (Kaitlyn), Janelle Coleman (Nathan) and Brady Stark (Delaney). Grandchildren, Zoe Istace (Brayden), Cade Istace, Hayden Scott-McCarthy (Kyra), Hunter McCarthy, Kendyl Murton, Atley McCarthy and Bo Stark. Brother, Michael (Jacquie). Nephew, Colin. Nieces, Rebecca (Jacob) and Geena. Parents-in-law, Ron and Linda Coleman. Brother-in-law, Darcy Coleman (Kim). Along with many other family members, friends and co-workers.

Kevin’s deep love for animals was especially evident in the bond he shared with his beloved dogs, Harley and Koda, who will miss him dearly.

A heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, surgeons, specialists, and nurses in Unit 5D and Palliative Care at the Pasqua Hospital who took care of Kevin, particularly Dr. Mirjana Zarkovic.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, October 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Turvey Centre (100 Armour Rd, Regina, Saskatchewan). Those attending are encouraged to wear Saskatchewan Roughriders, Toronto Blue Jays, or Montreal Canadiens jerseys/apparel, any camouflage apparel or any sports apparel.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks a donation be made either to the Regina Wildlife Federation or to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan  in Kevin’s name.
