Lorenzo Josseppe Vetere passed away in the late evening of January 9, 2026, in Regina, Saskatchewan, at the age of 70.

 

Born on April 25, 1955, in Ontario, Canada, Lorenzo spent much of his life living throughout southern Ontario before later making Regina his home. His life was shaped by a deep love of movement, machines, and the open road.

 

Lorenzo was passionate about cars, motorcycles, and trucks, and he found particular joy in flying – an interest he pursued with great enthusiasm. He spent many years as a professional truck driver, traveling extensively throughout North America, a career that reflected both his independence and love of adventure. He also achieved notable success as a salesman, earning several prestigious awards for his accomplishments.

 

A true social butterfly, Lorenzo loved meeting new people and making friends wherever he went. He had an immense love of music, which brought him joy and often served as a way for him to connect with others. His relationship with his son was especially important to him and brought him great meaning in life.

 

Lorenzo was predeceased by his parents, Marie and Salvatore Vetere. He is survived by his son, Jacob Vetere, and his brothers Dominic Vetere and Joe Vetere. 

 

In accordance with his wishes, Lorenzo was cremated.
