Mary Margaret Parker

Mary Margaret Parker, 59, passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully in her sleep on February 2, 2026. She was born in Regina and grew up in Melfort, Saskatchewan. She is predeceased by her mother, Margaret Bertha Parker, and her father, H. Donald Parker. Mary is survived by her two loving children, Tatyanna and Alekzander Hubic, her partner Art, her sister Naomi (Cameron and family), her brother Dick (Angie).

Mary lived a life full of laughter and spoke her mind with refreshing honesty, even when it ruffled a few feathers.

In her early years and teens Mary was a dedicated athlete to the sport of figure skating. Later, she started playing bar league pool where her competitive spirit and camaraderie shone through.

Mary was passionate about crocheting and found many new friends in the Caring Crafters, a community that brought her great joy. Mary showed her love by gifting her handmade creations to family and friends, and it's with a smile we look upon her art.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Regent Pub, 3823 Sherwood Drive, Regina, Saskatchewan, on February 28, 2026 from 2:00-5:00pm with tribute to her memory starting at 2:30pm.

The family asks that you wear or add a splash of purple to your attire.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Society in Mary's name.
