Nester Detz

Nester passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025.  He is survived by his wife Patrice, daughter Sandra Ann (Sam), only sister Helen Dumalski and youngest brother Victor.  Nester was born at Ethelbert, MB, grew up on the farm and after hight school, he secured a job with C.N. in Flin Flon, MB.  In 1958 he and Patrice moved to Regina for employment.  

He registered at LaSalle University for accounting and received his certificate for Public Accounting.  He set up Detz Investment Ltd. which he ran for many years.  Throughout his life, the family enjoyed many road trips across Canada, the United States and Europe and to the cottage at Good Spirit.  At Nester’s request, there will be no funeral (he didn’t like them).
