Tanya Kim Galenzoski

Tanya Kim Galenzoski, born April 29th 1971, passed away January 6th, 2025, with her family at her side. 

Predeceased by Birdie (Mother), Harvey (Father), Angela (Sister).

She is survived by her two daughters, Riley and Stevi.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tanya Galenzoski. She was a Daughter, a Sister, an Aunt, but most importantly, a Mother to her two amazing Daughters. She lived a quiet life at home with her family. Her entire life was for her children. She loved watching her shows, reading her books, drinking her coffee, and telling a great joke with huge laughs. When she wasn't spending time with Family, she was busy being a fiercely out-spoken political activist and a human rights defender who only ever wanted what is right for everyone and had no issue speaking out about injustice.

She fought a courageous but vicious battle with cancer and fought many more days than her caregivers could even explain. Her last days were spent full of love from her family.

We would like to express our most heartfelt Gratitude to the palliative care team for everything they did for Tanya and her family.
