In Loving Memory of Teodulo Momtaos Cristobal
February 17, 1964 – February 6, 2026
With deep sorrow yet faithful hearts, we announce the passing of Teodulo Momtaos Cristobal, who entered eternal rest on February 6, 2026, at Weyburn General Hospital, just days before his 62nd birthday.
Born on February 17, 1964, Teodulo grew up on Lopez Jaena Street in Meycauayan, Bulacan, Philippines. He carried with him the strong faith, humility, and family values that shaped his life. Later, he made his home in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada, where he continued to live a life guided by love and devotion to his family.
Teodulo was a loving and devoted father to Joyriza Marie Gabuyo, Krissel Canete, Maria Kristina Cruz, and Jester Cristobal. He was a respected father-in-law to Gerald Gabuyo, Jaime Canete, Rhalp Cruz, and JMarie Canete. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Myrna Cristobal De Jesus, and his niece, Clarisse Mae Cristobal.
His greatest earthly joy was his grandchildren: Matt, Amira, and Amara Gabuyo; Ashley and Adrian Canete; and Arhkay Cruz. He loved them unconditionally and selflessly. Nothing made him happier than seeing them smile. He poured his heart into his family, always putting their needs before his own.
Teodulo was a devoted husband and father who taught us wisdom through his words and example. He was known as a selfless man with a generous spirit, giving freely of his time, strength, and love. In every season of life, he remained steadfast, faithful, and devoted to those God entrusted to him.
He was a caring brother who gave his all for his siblings. For many years, he became a father figure to his nieces and nephews who lost their fathers at an early age, treating them as his own children. He was also a loyal friend who treated others like brothers.
As a loving husband, he gave unwavering care, support, and love while his beloved wife bravely fought through illness. Even during his own two-year battle with cancer, he continued to think of his family’s welfare, preparing them with strength and faith for the days ahead. Until his last days, his concern was for the well-being of others.
Though our hearts grieve his passing, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. His life was a testament to quiet strength, sacrifice, and enduring love. His legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know him.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembere
