William John McConnell

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William John McConnell, known to friends and family as Bill, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who passed away peacefully at the age of 90. 

Bill will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family.

Born in Swan Lake, MB, Bill lived a full and meaningful life. He had a successful career as a Heavy Duty Mechanic, retiring from Gibsons Energy. In his retirement, he found great joy in woodworking, a passion that brought him peace and satisfaction.

Bill was predeceased by his brother Calvin and his sisters Opal and Jane. He leaves behind his sons, Paul, Ken, and Michael; his granddaughters, Amanda, Jennifer, and Brianna; and his great-grandsons, Clark and Myles. He will also be dearly missed by his  sisters, Betty and Genevieve; and his extended family and many friends.

We take comfort in knowing that his legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to have known him.
