We miss you Erwin. One of the many things you did was help to take care of the snow shoveling at the apt building we shared together for a few too short years. When you moved to nursing home you passed your shovel to me. I will treasure it and do my best to keep the front step clear of ice and snow but will never be able to do the fine job you did. We miss you here and still talk about what a great force of life you were. You were such a great neighbor and friend. Enjoy your new heavenly home.

My sincere sympathies to Janice and all of Kevin’s family, you are in our prayers. Kevin (better known to us as “Resch”) had a generous heart and a unique sense of humour. I had hoped and prayed that he would be able to fully recover from this latest challenge, but God took him home sooner than we would have liked. Even though it has been many years since our high school days, I always have and always will consider Kevin as one of my very best friends. May God grant him eternal rest.

I have so many memories of my good friend Harvey. Around 1974 Harvey and I were Members of the Knights of Columbus Council 1247 here in Regina. Collectively we were responsible for bringing a notice of Motion to the floor to build a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool just a few yards from Lake Katepwa at Camp Monahan. The Motion passed and the pool was built by Rogne Construction from Pense. I have many other memories too numerous to mention here. Unfortunately I did not know of Harvey's passing; but I very much would have liked to be at his funeral. So long my good friend !!

On behalf of the Burns/Lecours family spread out across Canada and Europe please accept our sincere condolences .
My brothers John, Bill and I have fond memories of visiting at the welcoming home of aunt Anita and uncle Paul. And of walking the tracks and climbing the hills of Lebret with cousins Gerard, Romuald and the fabulous Lagace sisters; Denise, Michelle and Collette. Our adventures took us to the homes of uncle Frenchie and aunt Irene and Grandpere Anselme (Sam).
These were formative times for us Burns boys and we were treated not as occasional ‘city’ visitors (which we were) but as family and probably Gerard was the most open to us of them all. Through our occasional interactions in life I saw he was a man with a BIG heart; at their wedding I saw he had a wonderful partner in Linda. Later I heard about his camping adventures and thought ‘what a guy and what a dad’.
I’m sorry I didn’t know Gerard better but I do know he lived his life well and he loved and cared for his family well. I also know aunt Anita loved him very much.
Rest well cousin.

Dale was a man I will always remember because of his kindness and generosity. We shared a passion for gardening and that was often the topic of conversation when we ran into each other at the post office, bakery or on his daily trek down Main Street. He loved his cats , another thing we had in common, and we often chatted about their latest antics. Dale’s greatest love was for his family, especially his grandchildren. When he talked about them his face lit up and he would chuckle and share their latest achievements. I will miss him as a part of my life that just made the day go a little bit better. Rest in peace,my friend.
