Marjorie Schramm

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mom Marjorie Schramm on June 7, 2026 at the age of 85.

Marjorie was born in Drogheda Ireland in 1941. At the age of 19 she moved to England to pursue a career in Nursing.

In 1980 Marjorie, her husband and family emigrated to Canada where they lived on a dairy farm in Saskatchewan. They later moved to Regina where she lived for the rest of her life.

She spent over 50 years working as a medical professional at the Regina General and Pasqua hospitals. She dearly loved every minute of her working career, especially all the wonderful friends she made in that time.

As a young girl Marjorie developed a love for animals and throughout her life she had many pets which were all treated as members of the family. She was very proud of her Irish heritage,  and you could usually find a shamrock or an Irish symbol on her clothing or decorating her home. She was a die-hard Roughrider fan, enjoyed knitting and a good historical or mystery novel.

Marjorie is survived by her children Marc, Siobhan (Larry), Shirley (Marshall), 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many great friends.

She will be deeply missed.
