Sage Funeral and Cremation Services is a locally owned, family operated funeral home rooted in Regina and southern Saskatchewan. Jan Porten founded Sage in 2024 with a vision for honest, compassionate funeral care. In 2025, Frank Vervalcke, CFSP joined as a partner, bringing decades of combined experience. Our team is licensed by the Funeral and Cremation Services Council of Saskatchewan.
Located at 329 Dewdney Avenue in Regina, we guide families through cremation, burial, memorial services, and pre-planning with care and transparent pricing. We are here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our Services
Our cremation packages were created with transparency in mind. Each cremation package includes the essential services and minimal merchandise required. The cremation container provided is basic yet dignified, and the ashes are returned in a temporary crematorium urn designed for a safe and respectful transfer. Families are always welcome to choose upgraded products, such as a cremation container, personalized urns or keepsake. When you want to upgrade, simply pay the difference between the minimal and selected item.
